Ao Oni Finale
Right, it is done! Ao Oni and all its cryptic dogshit is finished! So, I forgot to mention the charity thing in the final part because I was too busy faffing with that fucking SOUTHPARK thing, so if you enjoyed the playthrough go hit that JustGiving link off to the right hand side and throw a donation to the Alzheimers Society!

More Thanks and Praise
Well, I've had quite a busy day and I'm not really in a position to be making long opinion posts on whatever, so instead I'm going to take the time to thank the two people who donated for the completed Rayman run. Hopefully this will inspire more people to throw a donation or two towards the Society, the link is on the side.
Also, I am willing to take requests for runs if you're willing to put forward a charity donation. Name your game and I'll be more than happy to give it a crack for your entertainment. Send an e-mail or yell at me on my stream, whatever you fancy. If I don't own it or I'm unable to record it, I'll seek it out and get round to it, I'll play anything for the sake of charity!
I'll be working on the next play through soon, so keep an eye out on that YouTube channel

Charity Donations Hit £200!
So thanks to you fine people, £200 has been raised for the Alzheimer's Society! That's double what it was last time I posted a little thank you message to the donators!
I'll post another one once it doubles again, so keep them rolling in. A donation of any value makes me really happy so even if it's only something small like £1, do it anyway because if everyone gave just £1 we'd probably be even nearer our first target.
It's a shame I don't really have anything I can do right now to incentivise donations, but if you want to see a specific Youtube playthrough, or you want a certain game on the stream, send in a donation and make your request in the comment, I'll do my best to get it done.
Don't forget the link to donate! www.justgiving.com/identitygaming
Thanks again!

Keeping Mentally Active with Games
Usually when video games pop up on the news, it's something bad. Either someone has been killed or horribly injured and "these horrible violent video games are to blame", but not this time! Check this shit out!
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-21116544
This was a news report I came across last month, about an 80 something year old woman who enjoys the shit out of some video games. You'll have to forgive the BBC for talking about tablet and phone games like they matter, but it's nice to hear some good news for once.
One of the reasons she enjoys playing games so damn much is because she claims they keep her mentally active so this little news video is especially relevant to this blog since I'm trying to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society.
Finally, before anyone asks, yes, that is Disgaea she is playing in the picture. This old woman has really good taste if you ask me, we need more old people like this. So if you're worried about losing your marbles in your old age, grab a controller because it sure as hell works for this lady.

I'm not dead! A blog update!
Well between family coming to Japan to visit and events to celebrate Christmas and new year, I've not had all that much time to make blog posts. Tonight is no exception really but I have managed to squeeze in some time to write a quick update before I head out again.
So, there aren't really any big changes coming to the blog itself, nothing special coming up in terms of written articles.
That said, there are a couple of things coming to the youtube channel once I get back into it all. First I've received quite a few new games, so you can expect a "shit I bought in Japan" vlog thing again soon. Also I'm off to see the friend who I filmed the Die Hard Arcade showcase with, so you might get another 2 man short playthrough video of probably something really old.
The big thing though is the new playthrough coming, which will be of Rayman on the PS1. This playthrough will be a little different to the Panzer Dragoon Saga one though. First, it's a platformer and I'm probably going to die a good few times, so expect more editing to the videos at the very least. The other thing is that I've been challenged to beat this game by a friend, who said that if I can beat it he'll donate to the charity.
So in the future, if any of you have a game you think I can't beat, or would like to see, I'd be more than happy to take a request if it means a little something towards the Alzheimer's Society upon completion.
Anyway, once all the end of year hype dies down, shit will be back to normal.

A little reminder
So it's Friday night, I've come home late and had to walk through the rain, I'm going to chill out and put more Panzer Dragoon together to be uploaded tomorrow hopefully, in the mean time I thought I'd put up a little reminded about why I'm really doing this blog.
As much as I enjoy writing about video games, the inspiration to do this whole thing came from me wanting to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society, so I'm just putting it out there that if you are enjoying the stuff that gets posted here, please please please donate something, anything, it would mean a lot to me.
Of course, I'm not going to be all bitter if you don't but it doesn't hurt to ask. I won't beg for donations very often but with all the super fun video game stuff being written and posted, it's easy to forget about that little link on the side.
If you would like to donate something, I'll put the link in this post, but it will ALWAYS be on that side bar if your feeling generous.
Thanks very much guys!

A small update
I did have something proper planned for today but I'm not really in the best of conditions to do some proper writing right now, so I'll save it for tomorrow morning.
That said, I will take this little bit of downtime to clear something up, the charity link hasn't been working for the last week or so, I think, but now it's fixed. So if you were trying to donate but you were denied, you will now be able to. If you havn't donated something, then I'd ask you to at least consider doing so, even if it's just something very small it would mean a lot to me.
Also I'm a bit lazy with Twitter but I'm trying to use it more and more, so keep me motivated by following me!

Making Progress
Well I checked the donation page when I woke up today to realise, we have hit £100! Sure, it's only 10% of my target and it doesn't sound like a lot in the long run, but considering I'm just a two-bit blog and I don't really have a huge readership, I think £100 is pretty good!
Of course though, it's not me who's been donating anything, so I'd like to thank everyone who has donated so far, I can't thank you enough.
We still have a long way to go though, so if you are enjoying the content on this blog, please throw a little money to the Alzheimer's society. It doesn't matter how big or small, let's just try to eradicate this horrible disease
